Payments and Pricing
All prices on our website are shown in £ Sterling and are valid for as long as they are displayed on the website. Any promotional discounts are issued and revoked at our discretion and may be limited by stock availability. Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout, and you will be contacted for consultation in rare cases of additional charges being levied by couriers for delivery to remote locations.
Your preferred payment method can be selected during checkout. Payments can be made using your debit or credit card and are processed by PayPal. We also accept BACS payments, if this method is selected at checkout we will contact you via email with our bank details after the order has been received.
Processing Times
Wood Wiz is operated by a small team of dedicated individuals and many of our products are made to order. This means there can be various processing times associated with not only creating your product, but also personalising it where applicable. We will state these general processing times alongside each product where possible, but please feel free to get in touch before ordering to obtain a more accurate timescale. If your order is urgent please let us know and we will do what we can to meet your expectations.
Stock Levels and Availability
Our stock levels are monitored as closely and regularly as possible but in rare cases, especially during busy periods, you may order an item which is out of stock. In such cases you will be offered a full refund, alternative product or more usually there may simply be a small delay in processing your order. We also reserve the right to limit sales of popular products to a limited number per customer in the interests of fairness.
Delivery
We use Royal Mail for most of our deliveries, and aim to offer free UK delivery in all but very rare cases. If any delivery charges become applicable for any reason you will either be made aware during the checkout process, or we will email you as soon as this becomes known to us.
Product Information
We strive to ensure all product information shown on our website including dimensions, weights and other measurements is accurate but despite speculation, we are in fact human – so occasional errors may occur.
Product photography can only be regarded as an indicative illustration of each product, especially given the hand-crafted nature of these products as well as the natural materials used. Wooden items, of course, come in many shades, so colours may differ slightly even within the same species of wood.
Cancellations and Returns
You are free to cancel your order at any time before dispatch, as long as the product(s) in question have not already been personalised. Commissioned product orders cannot be cancelled after work has begun unless agreed by both parties. Any applicable refunds will be made to the original payment method.
Non-personalised products should be checked for manufacturing defects or damage within 7 days of receipt, and any issues reported to us along with supporting photographs. Products which are returned to us within 28 days of the original purchase date are eligible for refund as long as the return has been mutually agreed beforehand. We strongly recommend using a recorded delivery service when returning any items for any reason. Return postage costs will not be refunded unless agreed in advance by both parties.
Personalised products cannot be returned for refund unless there are manufacturing defects, transit damage, or an error has been made by us during personalisation. In such cases you will be offered replacement or refund options as stock levels allow. Wood Wiz reserve the right to cancel orders or refuse service to any party at any time and for any reason at our discretion.
